Shipping & Returns

  • SHIPPING AND DELIVERY ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COSTS:
  • Certain products will not necessarily be able to be shipped at the flat base rates. Heavier and/or larger items (such as plasma, LCD TV) may attract up to R100 extra for shipping costs. Additional theft prevention insurance of up to R50 is added to the base rate amounts, for certain expensive items such as LAPTOPS. These costs will be email to you .

  • SHIPPING METHOD:
  • Snasco Computers uses the SA Post Office or courier to ship your parcels nationwide to you. We have shipped over 1000 parcels since January 2006 and not a single one has gone astray. In fact the largest problem we have is customers giving us the incorrect shipping addresses/postal codes or failing to collect their items at the post office when delivered. Please give us right delivery address. All items are insured against loss during shipping.

  • DELIVERY TIMES:
  • Our Delivery times depend on availability of stock and clearance of your payment. Most items are in stock (unless otherwise specified on the product description) and in this case you will receive your goods 1-3 days (bank transfer) or 3-7 days (credit card) after order placement. We will confirm your order within 24 hours of receipt. If items are out of stock it can take up to 15 working days to receive your order. Upon confirmation of your order you will be provided with an estimated ship date. Should there be a delay with regard to your delivery, you will be notified in email from the Snasco Sales Team. We may elect to part-ship portions of your order at our discretion and at no additional cost to you. You will be provided with a notification and tracking number once your item has shipped. You can check the status of your order at any time by clicking on the link provided with your original order confirmation. To confirm stock levels you can email us at sales@snasco.co.za, phone us (but the phones are almost always engaged). If you have a query with your order once you have received it or have an item missing you need to contact us within 5 days of receiving your order. Thereafter, we cannot entertain any queries for missing items after 5 days.

  • INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES
  • We ship to Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland for a flat rate of R400 for packages les than 1KG. We ship to your nearest Post Office and takes up to 3 days. Incorrect shipping address may delay your order. Note we only accept bank transfers for international orders. EXCLUSIONS

  • 1. WE DO NOT DO COLLECTIONS at our premises under any circumstances. WE DO NOT DO COLLECTIONS UNLESS PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE BEFORE. If under extreme conditions or urgent orders WE DO ALLOW COLLECTIONS
  • 2. WE DO accept credit cards for international orders.
  • 3. WE DO NOT accept responsibility for incorrectly provided shipping addresses
  • 4. Snasco coupons and vouchers cannot be applied toward reduced shipping rates.
  • 5. We cannot guarantee delivery dates.
  • 6. Incomplete orders or items missing must be reported within 5 days of the order being received. Thereafter we cannot entertain missing items or items not received
  • 2. Non-repudiation of payment
  • by clicking on the buy buttons, you agree to the terms and conditions in this document and commit to the purchase and payment of items purchased. It is entirely the discretion of the seller (Snasco Computers) whether to allow order cancellations depending on if stock has been reserved or not. An order cancellation fee of 15% of the value of your order will be levied. The seller reserves the right to report non-payers to ITC and any other Bureau of similar functionality, and revoke all access to membership and shopping areas on this web site.

  • 3. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT.
  • Due to high incidences of credit card fraud and that the merchant is at 100% risk with an on-line transaction, if you are a first time buyer paying by credit card and your order is over R1000.00 the Seller (Snasco) reserves the right to request any combination of the following:

  • Your ID number
  • A faxed copy of the front and back of the credit card
  • A faxed copy of the cardholders ID
  • A letter of authorization with two contact telephone numbers, signed by the card holder allowing Snasco Computers to debit your card.
  • When we have received one or more of these documents we will get authorization from the bank for your credit card and we can then process your order. Please note that failure to provide said documentation on request from the seller will lead to lengthy delays in the shipment of your order or even lead to order cancellation. The information we receive from these documents will be protected by our Privacy Statement in this document. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • 4. BANK DEPOSIT AND BANK TRANSFER:
  • For bank transfers and Internet transfers; please allow 24 hours for the payment to reflect in our account and delivery. Contrary to popular belief, these payments are NOT immediate. WE DO NOT DO COLLECTIONS UNLESS PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE AND FUNDS REFLECT IN OUR ACCOUNTS. For cheque deposits you must allow 5-7 working days for your cheque to clear. If your payment via direct transfer is not received within 12 hours of placing your order, we will automatically cancel your order as we cannot reserve stock indefinitely

  • 5.STOCK AVAILABILITY:
  • Your items will only be shipped once your payment has cleared. Most of our items are normally in stock, however all items are subject to availability as depicted on the item shopping pages. Certain items do have a longer lead time than others. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available and quote you an approximate shipping date. Alternatively you can contact sales@snasco.co.za before placing your order to confirm item availability. It is at the seller discretion to do part-shipments of orders.

  • 6. PRICE FLUCTUATIONS:
  • The seller (Snasco) reserves the right to change prices of item on the site at any time. We may do this to react to compete conditions. STOCK LEVELSl, CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE FLUCTUATIONS or for the purposes of running specials and stock clearance sales. In most instances the size of incoming shipments drastically affects shipping costs and prices from our suppliers which may also affect pricing. We may also pass on specials or price increases from our suppliers. We are in no way obligated to pass credits for items previously purchased that may currently be at lower prices than what you purchased them for. Conversely we are not obligated to honor previous prices at which items are purchased.

  • 7. SITE OWNERSHIP:
  • This site is owned and operated by Snasco Computers. If you have any questions, comments or complaints with regard to our web site please email these to David@snasco.co.za

  • 14.RETURNS AND REFUNDS:
  • If your items are received faulty please return it to us in or with its original packaging within 7 days of receipt and we will send you a replacement within 10 days of receiving your faulty item. Note that replacements are not necessarily complete sealed units but new factory warranty components. We do not accept returns for goods incorrectly ordered or incompatible with your GOODS or any other equipment. If you are not sure of the compatibility of a product, e-mail us on: sales@snasco.co.za, and we will gladly answer your questions. Please note that we do not accept returns for any items that don\'t work with item you have. Please ensure you keep your original packaging to prove you bought an item from us (our packaging is specially marked). Please note that we do not accept returns or offer refunds if you are unhappy with the product quality, design, coloring, operation, specifications and functionality and you have already opened or used the product. These are items under control of the manufacturer and not us. We merely market and resell their equipment. The onus in upon the client to research the particular brands\' functionality and quality through their web sites, specifications sheets and through user forums and review sites such as lounge before making purchases. Returns cannot be accepted if cables, user manuals, original marketing and protective packing or accessories are damaged, torn or missing from the original packaging. If the item is damaged, mishandled or scratched in anyway then a return and refund will not be accepted. The Purchaser is responsible for costs of shipping for returns and the Seller is responsible for shipping of replacement units only if the unit is deemed to be faulty. Return shipments to buyer are via insured post office mail. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs if items are not faulty. It is entirely the discretion of the seller to allow returns in exchange for other goods. In this case the cost of return shipment is for the buyers\' account. If the seller allows a return, a 15% re-stocking fee is chargeable

  • 15.LIMITED WARRANTY:
  • All our electronics goods carry a Limited Warranty, details of which can be requested. All warranty claims must involve the faulty items being returned to Snasco or Distributors for replacement or repair. In order to provide you with the most competitive purchase prices possible, Snasco imports all their products directly from authorized distributors/resellers of various manufacturers and as such we will support the purchaser in terms of warranty and after sales service as per the Limited Warranty.
